Lentil (Lens culinaris Medik) is also known as "massoor". A member of the Leguminaceae family for their high protein and nutrient content. Wilt incited by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lentis can result in significant yield losses upto 50% lentil farmers. Chemical management through fungicides reduces crop significantly but has some environmental drawbacks conflicts on human health instead other methods control such use plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) a bio-inoculant which gaining attention sustainable approach to manage diseases. PGPR are soil bacteria that live rhizosphere plants promote growth. The PGPR-based agents increased agriculture recent years. In this study, isolation evaluation novel pseudomonad isolates were performed from various sources exploited controlling wilt caused F. assess in-vitro ability inhibit pathogen.
